Ray is a former Dallas Mavericks point guard who was struck a devastating blow after being diagnosed with leukemia in 2005.

After 5 ½ years in remission, Ray decided to put his efforts into his lifelong love for music.

With the release of his album, “No Bad Days,” Ray began a full-time touring cycle.

Since then, he has scored 7 singles on the Texas Music Chart, and over a quarter of a million streams online.

Now, he is bringing his unique blend of country and rock to Boot’n & Shoot’n! Each year, one of the most exciting parts of our entire event is having a live band that captures the energy and spirit of the event.
